RICH COUNTY, UT – A solo-vehicle crash on SR-16 took the life of a 21-year-old man around 5:42 pm Monday, ABC 4 reported.
The man tried to overtake a car in front of him, and a car was already coming into the lane that he had moved in. The driver was hoping to avoid a head-on collision with the other vehicle but ended up losing control of his car and traveling off course.
The car flipped over, and the driver was thrown. The driver suffered life-threatening injuries. He died, but it was unclear if he was killed at the scene or the hospital.
Police have not released the man’s name. More details about the crash are unavailable.
