SUMMIT COUNTY, UT – A red Dodge truck with a trailer burst into flames on I-80 East around 5:30 pm Saturday, KPCW reported.
Two lanes were closed, and emergency responders took care of the fire just after 6 pm. The driver and passengers of the Dodge truck managed to get out of the car and suffered no injuries.
Utah Highway Patrol officials believe a mechanical issue caused the fire. The truck completely burned, and the trailer was severely damaged.
