IRON CO., UT – A box truck driver was killed in a collision involving a second truck on I-15 Thursday morning.
Utah Highway Patrol reported the crash on southbound I-15, about 10 miles north of Parowan, at 5:20 a.m.
The box truck overturned, blocking the southbound lanes. A semi-truck then collided with the box truck’s cab while attempting to avoid the crash.
The box truck driver, whose name and age are undisclosed, was pronounced dead. No other injuries were reported.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
