Car kills little girl in Davis County Fourth of July parade

DAVIS COUNTY, UT – A car ran over and killed an 8-year-old girl in a Fourth of July parade in Davis County, KJZZ reported.

The crash happened on Independence Day. The time of the crash was not reported.

The girl was participating in a float with her dance team when she was hit. She was transported to a hospital, where she died.

Police have not released more details about the crash or the name of the driver who hit her.
