The investigation indicates that a southbound Ford F150 collided head-on with a Ford Edge SUV while using the northbound lane to pass a Kenworth semi truck. The force of the collision pushed the pickup truck and the SUV into the southbound lane, where both vehicles were struck by the 18-wheeler.
