Pizza delivery driver injuries boy 7-year-old boy in Layton

LAYTON, UT – A pizza delivery driver injured a 7-year-old boy in Layton around 7 pm Sunday, ABC 4 reported

The collision occurred on 2550 East and 3700 North Street. The boy was run over on 2550 East. Shortly after, he was airlifted to Primary Children’s Hospital, where he was hospitalized for life-threatening injuries. 

It is unclear why the driver’s car slammed into the boy, but he remained at the scene. Law enforcement officials have not released further details about the crash, the driver’s name, or an update on the boy’s current condition.
