Narrative
SANPETE CO., UT – A 42-year-old man died on Wednesday in a collision with a school bus in north-central Sanpete County.
The accident occurred in the afternoon along northbound US-89 just north of Fairview, just under an hour southeast of Provo.
Police say a school bus carrying 10 children had stopped along the highway at a designated drop-off point, at which point a Honda struck the rear of the bus.
Medics airlifted the driver of the school bus to the hospital, where he died from injuries sustained in the accident.
Thus far, no other injuries have been reported.
A full investigation is underway.
