ST. GEORGE, UT – Four people were seriously injured in a three-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck in the St. George area on Monday afternoon.
The crash took place on UT-59 near Apple Valley at about 2:30 p.m.
Investigators say a semi=truck hauling a flatbed slammed into the rear of a Honda Civic in the westbound lanes of the highway. The impact caused the Honda to veer to the right, where it collided with an oncoming Mazda.
Two individuals from the Honda and two from the Mazda were taken to the hospital with moderate injuries. The truck’s driver was reportedly unhurt.
