Narrative
WASATCH CO., UT – A 37-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman died on Friday after a head-on collision along Highway 40 in southern Wasatch County.
The incident happened around 5:30 p.m. somewhere near Strawberry Reservoir.
Police say that an eastbound Dodge pickup truck veered into the westbound lane and collided head-on with a Honda sedan, killing the driver of the pickup along with a passenger in the sedan.
Medics transported the 21-year-old driver of the sedan to the hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities have not yet released the names of the victims. They say that icy roadways may have caused the accident.
