SALT LAKE CITY, UT – A woman was hospitalized after she crashed her pickup truck through the median on Bangerter Highway this morning, according to FOX 13 News.
The crash happened near 500 South before 11:45 a.m., when a pickup truck hauling a signboard swerved to the left and then collided with the median barrier.
The vehicle then crashed through the barrier and went down the embankment leading to the street below.
The driver, the only occupant of the vehicle, was taken to the hospital for the treatment of severe injuries.
Authorities shut down traffic in both directions as they investigated the crash.
